If you’re a member of a car club or organisation and want to have a rolling road shootout day, we can host these at our premises or at almost any venue in the country
We use a fully portable two wheel drive 450 DS single axle chassis dynomometer capable of measuring up to 1200 Bhp. The data acquisition system in this dyno allows us to measure and record power and torque at the wheels and flywheel, RPM, Road speed, air fuel ratio, manifold vacuum/boost, inlet air temperature and tractive effort.
Every car that has a power run will automatically receive two graph printouts, one showing power and torque at the wheels and one at the flywheel. Additional printouts of other logged data can be produced at a cost of £3.00 each.
Power runs will cost £35.00 per car providing that a minimum of ten cars are run.
For Shootout Days at a venue of your choice a deposit of £350.00 must be paid in advance. If you should need to cancel your event the deposit will only be refunded if you give notice of seven days. No monies will be refunded if less that ten cars turn up on the day.
For shootout Days are run from our premises payment can be made on the day. If less than ten cars are to be run, then our normal power run fee of £45.00 applies.
To arrange a shootout day and to help you get the most from the day please follow the instructions below.
1. Organise a group of at least ten cars ( No Four Wheel Drive )
2. Put together a list of cars expected and email it to us so we can plan a running order to keep the day running smoothly.
3. Before arrival, please try and ensure that your oil and water levels are correct and that that there are no leaks, that your tyres are in good condition and that you have plenty of fuel. We can perform the checks if requested but this will incur extra cost.
4. All owners will be required to fill out a disclaimer before using the dyno
